Perspectives

The other day my cousin’s little girl was going to visit one of our aunt’s home.  She was getting ready to go and when she got in the car she had a small container with what looked like a plant or flowers or something.  Her father asked her what she had and she replied, “I am taking Aunt Jean some dandelions because she doesn’t have any!”

I thought that was hilarious, and the more I thought of it, the more I thought of how differently people see things.  While some see a dandelion as a weed and don’t feel they need any in their yard, others see the plant as a beautiful yellow flower that you need to brighten your day.  Often times in our busy lives we are quick to judge what others say or do based on our own perspective.  If we just wait two extra seconds (yes, I admit that I am guilty of this too) to reply or act, it might make a big difference in the outcome of situations.

Remember, the world would be a boring place if we all had the same perspective!
